Subsequently, newly released emission standards in provinces and cities have also relaxed their targets. The moderate treatment of rural domestic wastewater is being emphasised and promoted from top to bottom, laying the foundation for subsequent resource utilisation.
Regionalised Sewage Resource Utilisation Development Direction
Artificial wetland is currently the most widely used rural domestic sewage treatment technology in rural areas. The practical application of the resourceful use of rural domestic sewage in China still stays at the stage of artificial wetland, stabilisation pond and ecological soil purification. As the agricultural surface pollution including rural domestic sewage has become the main source of rural pollution in China, the whole basin management, source reduction-pre-blocking-resourcefulness-ecological restoration will be the development direction of agricultural surface management source pollution control. Similarly, rural domestic sewage needs to use regional resources.
